Thermal Design

GEA Batignolles Technologies Thermiques dedicated team of thermal engineers deals with customers technical requirements, including: heat duty, allowed tubeside pressure drop, maximum noise level, plot plan restriction, electrical power consumption, extreme environmental conditions and other specific requests. CFD is developed to model critical phase of aircoolers operation.

As part of a global organisation specialist of heat exchangers, GEA Batignolles Technologies Thermiques is involved in developing programs aiming at increasing performance and reliability.

Toting in house software

It has been developed:

  • to generate preliminary drawing with loading data and foot print at the early stage of projects development
  • to allow a fast track detail engineering to be launched as soon as contract is awarded. Finite element models are used for stress analysis of critical components

Mechanical Design Air Fin Coolers

In house developed finite element calculation methods certified by ASME authorized inspection agencies are used for header box design as per ASME VIII div.1 App.13.Finite Element specific softwares and models are used for nozzle stress analysis under piping loads.
